These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the website www.meteoraoffroad.com and to all online bookings for activities offered under the brand Meteora Offroad Adventures.

The structure and content of these Terms are aligned with the legal status, scope, and roles defined in the official company statute of Meteora Offroad Adventures Ι.Κ.Ε. (P.C.).

By accessing this website, completing a booking, or participating in any activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the risk acknowledgement and liability waiver contained herein.

Visit Meteora Ι.Κ.Ε. is a 50% shareholder of Meteora Offroad Adventures Ι.Κ.Ε. and, according to the company statute, is exclusively responsible for:

  • Online promotion & marketing
  • Online booking management
  • Customer communication
  • Sales through digital channels

Accordingly, Visit Meteora Ι.Κ.Ε. acts as the official online booking coordinator of this website.

Services

The company provides off-road and outdoor tourism activities, including guided experiences and vehicle-based excursions in the Meteora area.

All services are subject to:

  • Availability
  • Weather and environmental conditions
  • Safety and operational requirements

The company reserves the right to modify routes, timing, or services when required for safety or operational reasons.

Bookings & Payments

All payments made through www.meteoraoffroad.com are processed online and coordinated by Visit Meteora Ι.Κ.Ε., acting as the official online booking and payment coordinator.

Payments are completed via secure third-party payment service providers.
Visit Meteora Ι.Κ.Ε. does not store, process, or have access to full credit or debit card details.

All transactions are encrypted and handled in accordance with international payment security standards (PCI-DSS).

Depending on the selected activity, one of the following may apply:

  • Full prepayment at the time of booking, or

  • Partial prepayment (deposit), with the remaining balance payable prior to or on the day of the activity.

A booking is considered confirmed only after successful payment and the issuance of a written confirmation by email.

In case of payment failure, incomplete payment, or chargeback, the booking may be automatically cancelled without further obligation.

Cancellations & Refunds

Unless otherwise stated during booking:

  • Cancellations 24 hours or more before the scheduled activity are fully refundable.
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before the activity are non-refundable.
  • No-shows are non-refundable.

If an activity is cancelled by the company due to weather, safety, or force majeure, customers are entitled to either:

  • A full refund, or
  • Rescheduling to another available date.

Participant Obligations

By booking and participating, you declare that:

  • You are in good physical and mental condition to participate
  • You do not suffer from any medical condition that would make participation unsafe
  • You will follow all instructions given by guides and staff

Participation under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or substances affecting judgment is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the activity without refund.

Risk Acknowledgement

Off‑road and outdoor activities involve inherent and unavoidable risks, including rough terrain, vehicle movement, weather conditions, and exposure to natural environments.

By participating, you voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with the activities, including the risk of injury, illness, property damage, delays, or itinerary changes.

Our tours are not suitable for:

  • Pregnant women
  • People with serious back, neck or heart conditions

The company applies reasonable safety measures but cannot eliminate all risks inherent in adventure tourism.

Liability & Waiver (To the Extent Permitted by Law)

To the maximum extent permitted by Greek and EU law:

  • Meteora Offroad Adventures Ι.Κ.Ε. shall not be liable for injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Visit Meteora Ι.Κ.Ε., acting solely as booking and payment coordinator, bears no operational liability for the physical conduct of activities.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Insurance

The company maintains insurance coverage as required by Greek law. Personal travel, medical, and accident insurance remains the sole responsibility of the participant, and adequate coverage is strongly recommended.

Intellectual Property

All website content (texts, images, logos, branding) is the intellectual property of Meteora Offroad Adventures Ι.Κ.Ε. and/or Visit Meteora Ι.Κ.Ε.

Any unauthorised use is prohibited.

Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.

Visit Meteora Ι.Κ.Ε. acts as the data controller for online bookings and customer communications.

Force Majeure

The company shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Greek law.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek courts.

Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal items during the tour. We recommend bringing only essential belongings, as off-road conditions may be dusty or bumpy.
